Belgrade Senior Center
Basic & Intermediate computer classes are available for monthly sessions. Class is filled on a first-come first serve basis and requires Senior Center membership ($12/annual dues) and monthly computer card ($5/person), which will allow you to take all the classes for the specified month and access the wireless laptops whenever you so choose. Bring your own laptop if you have one. Call 406-388-4711 to register as space is limited. Pre-Registration is required.
Purchase a monthly activity card to participate in Beginner Pilates, Fitness/Strength Training, Beginner Clogging, Clogging, and the Walking Program. Cost is $10 / month with Belgrade Senior Center annual membership fee of $12.
Classes are ½ hour in length and encompass basic beginner clogging steps.
Enjoy an hour of clogging to favorite tunes while increasing your heart rate and getting fun exercise simultaneously.
Instructor Anna Collins-Proper is teaching classes in her personal studio, Pilates in Motion. Pilates is a physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates in Germany. Pilates called his method Contrology because he believed that his method uses the mind to control the muscles. Pilates is a body conditioning routine that helps to not only build flexibility, but also strength, endurance, and coordination in the legs, abdominals, arms and back Pilates provides positive results which can help you.
Move your feet and get fit while in your seat! Join a fun conditioning class designed for participants of all levels who are seeking to improve muscle tone, strength, and stamina. A great fitness program for persons with limitations and those who have not exercised for a long time. Seated and standing exercises will be incorporated to improve muscle tone, strength and movement.
Collin Anderson, hearing aid professional provides repairs, adjustments and/or cleaning on a monthly basis. No appointment is necessary.
Volunteer nurses provide FREE blood pressure checks. No appointment necessary.
The Board meeting is held on the fourth Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m.
If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please call to reschedule so that someone on the waiting list can have your previous appointment time.
Classes, workshops, services and events offered are selected for the potential educational and recreational enjoyment and benefit to interested participants. We do not endorse any products or programs that are presented. Individuals are responsible for making their own informed decisions.
Any programs or classes with an instructor or escort require you to not only be a member of the Belgrade Senior Center, but some require you to sign up or register; this helps us plan for the expected number of participants. Enrollment minimum and maximums are set to provide the desired learning environment and to meet the instructor/leader’s criteria to justify time commitment to offer the program.
